Foundation Studies Department

The General Education Department comprises the Foundation Program and the General Studies courses within the major programs. The Foundation Program consists of two intensive semesters of English, mathematics, and information technology, preparing students for their university majors. Outstanding students in the first semester of the Foundation Program have the opportunity to progress directly to the major program (based on semester and final exam results). Major courses include English writing, mathematics, critical thinking, history, and professional development. Instructors are highly qualified and have international teaching and professional experience, and come from diverse cultures.
