Transfer Students Admission Policy

Rules & Guidelines

Eligible Transfer Institutions

Transfer courses must be completed at:

• Institutions accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education in Kuwait (for local institutions).
• Institutions accredited by NABQ (for institutions outside Kuwait).

Credit Acceptance Requirements

Credits must meet KTech's requirements in all of the following:

• Accreditation of the awarding institution
• Course content relevance
• Programme relevance

Non-Eligible Courses

The following course types are not eligible for transfer:

• Short-term training courses
• Pass/Fail graded courses
• Courses from non-degree-granting institutions

Transfer Conditions

• Courses must be similar in content to the equivalent KTech course.
• Courses must have been passed with a grade of C− or better.

Transfer Credit Limits

• Up to 30 credit hours may be transferred for Diploma programmes.
• An additional 30 credit hours may be transferred for Bachelor's programmes.
