Press Conference: kuwait technical college (ktech) Sponsors the Kuwait Football Association’s Women’s Futsal League

On Wednesday, May 8, 2024, kuwait technical college (ktech) hosted a press conference on campus to announce its partnership with the Kuwait Football Association (KFA) and its official sponsorship of the “ktech Women’s Futsal League”, which kicked off on May 11, 2024. This marks the sixth edition of the national women’s futsal league, with four local clubs participating in the tournament.

The conference was held in the presence of:

• Mr. Abdulrahman Abdulqader Al-Ajeel, Vice President for Finance and Administration at ktech
• Ms. Fatma Masoud Hayat, Member of the Board of Directors and Women’s Committee at the KFA
• Ms. Ayat Al-Shammali, Director of Women’s Football at the KFA

ktech’s sponsorship of the league stems from its dedication to advancing women’s sports in Kuwait and raising the profile of local female athletes. This initiative reflects the college’s broader commitment to supporting student-athletes across various disciplines, and aligns with one of ktech’s core strategic goals outlined in Amiri Decree No. 303 of 2005— which calls for social engagement and national development.

The partnership also demonstrates the college’s strong focus on community service, sustainable development, and the goals of Kuwait Vision 2035.
