kuwait technical college Celebrates the Graduation of the Class of 2023 in a Joyful Ceremony

kuwait technical college (ktech) held its annual graduation ceremony for the Class of 2023 on Thursday, December 7, at its main campus in Abu Halifa, celebrating the accomplishments of its students in the presence of senior guests, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees Mr. Mishari Ayman Boodai, board members, faculty, families, and proud parents.

This year’s graduating class included 147 students awarded the Diploma Degree across a range of technical and administrative disciplines:

  • 47 graduates in Sales & Marketing
  • 44 graduates in Network Security & Maintenance
  • 27 graduates in Information Systems Management
  • 12 graduates in Software Applications & Programming
  • 17 graduates in Network Design Technology

Among the graduates, six students earned high honors with distinction, namely:
Asayel Saud Al-Rashidi, Abdullah Ayed Al-Otaibi, Fajer Nabeel Al-Awadi, Nasser Mohammed Al-Dhafiri, Mikael Gholamhussein Kalmeti, and Fatima Said Abu-Saydo.


Inspirational Words from ktech Leadership

The ceremony commenced with the national anthem and a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by a warm welcome address by Mr. Mishari Ayman Boodai, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, who stated:

“I extend my heartfelt congratulations to you and your families. We thank you for entrusting us with your sons and daughters. This ceremony marks not an end, but a new beginning—one that moves you from the classroom to the professional world, where you’ll put your knowledge into practice.”

Ms. Nora Ayman Boodai, Vice President for Student Affairs and Registration, also expressed her pride in the Class of 2023, adding:

“I’m truly proud of our graduates today. They are part of our vision for Kuwait’s future—educated, creative, and committed to innovation and positive change.”

Mr. Abdulrahman Abdulqader Al-Ajeel, Vice President for Financial and Administrative Affairs, echoed the same spirit, saying:

“ktech will always be your academic home. Our doors will remain open to support you in every step of your journey, and we look forward to welcoming you back in many future forums.”

 

Student Speeches: Pride, Gratitude & Purpose

Top-performing student Yousef Hashemi, who served as the ceremony’s emcee, delivered a heartfelt message:

“After all the long nights, the friendships built, and the memories made—I realized that KTech is more than just a college. It's a collection of moments and diverse experiences that shaped who we are.”

He concluded by saying:

“As we take this next step, let’s walk forward with confidence and a commitment to making a meaningful impact on our society.”

Honors graduate Asayel Al-Rashidi also delivered a moving speech, saying:

“We express our deep gratitude to the families and friends who stood by us throughout this journey. Success would not have been possible without your constant support. At ktech, we didn’t just learn subjects—we learned the values of hard work, perseverance, and collaboration.”


The Highlight: Graduation Recognition

The ceremony culminated in the highly anticipated diploma award segment, where Mr. Mishari Ayman BoodaiMs. Nora Ayman Boodai, and Mr. Abdulrahman Abdulqader Al-Ajeel personally handed out certificates to the graduates.

As part of the academic tradition, graduates were instructed to move the tassels on their caps from right to left, marking their official transition as KTech graduates.

The event concluded with joyful moments of photography and celebration, as graduates captured lasting memories with their families and friends.
