Petrochemical Industries Company Selects Kuwait Technical College (ktech) as Launch Platform for “Future Leaders Academy” Program, Recognizing Its Academic Standing and Leadership in Applied Education

In a move that reflects the prominence of Kuwait Technical College (ktech) as one of the country’s leading educational institutions, the Petrochemical Industries Company (PIC) has chosen the college as the inaugural host for the “PIC Future Leaders Academy” program, as part of its college and university tour across Kuwait.

The program aims to empower young Kuwaitis by equipping them with leadership skills and practical knowledge, preparing them to become influential leaders in vital sectors, including petrochemicals and energy. The selection of ktech reflects confidence in the college’s academic reputation and its growing role in developing Kuwaiti competencies ready for the labor market.

Today, ktech stands as a pioneering educational institution in Kuwait, combining applied academic curricula with real-world experience; offering newly launched bachelors programs, including Cybersecurity, Management of Information Systems, Marketing and Accounting, to enhance students’ academic pathways and provide them with the knowledge and skills demanded by the modern digital economy.

This collaboration between the Petrochemical Industries Company (PIC) and Kuwait Technical College (ktech) reflects the college’s strong academic standing and advanced learning environment, which empower students to build a clear career pathway through hands-on training, engagement with industrial sectors, and participation in national initiatives.

The program spanned two days. The first day featured an extensive seminar on campus, attended by PIC leadership and participating students. The seminar included interactive presentations and discussion sessions focused on key skills required for success in the industrial labor market.

On the second day, ktech students participated in a field visit to PIC headquarters and the Polypropylene Plant, where they met the company’s CEO, Eng. Nadia Al-Hajji, along with a number of company leaders. During the visit, they were introduced to the modern industrial work environment and engaged with a distinguished group of engineers and experts who shared their experiences and practical knowledge with the next generation of students.

This collaboration aligns with ktech’s ongoing efforts to enhance the student learning experience and directly connect it with labor market requirements. Kuwait Technical College believes that true investment lies in students themselves, providing them with applied knowledge, technical skills, and practical training opportunities that strengthen their readiness for the future.

Through such initiatives, ktech reaffirms its leadership role in bridging education and the labor market, empowering young Kuwaitis to become a generation capable of innovation, transformation, and leadership in national economic and technological fields.

Kuwait Technical College continues its pursuit to be the first choice for national companies and institutions seeking partnerships with forward-thinking educational institutions that provide high-quality applied education, meet future challenges, and make a tangible difference in students’ lives and society.
