ktech reinforces Kuwait's digital future as Knowledge Partner of CYSEC Kuwait 2026

Kuwait, 30 September 2026 — kuwait technical college (ktech) took part as Knowledge Partner in the 23rd edition of CYSEC Global, held on 30 September 2026 at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Kuwait, under the theme "Fortifying Kuwait's Digital Horizon: Secure, Evolve, Prosper." Organised by CYSEC Global, the conference brought together a distinguished group of experts and specialists alongside government bodies, companies and institutions working across cybersecurity and digital transformation.

ktech's participation as Knowledge Partner in this specialist conference affirms the College's role in advancing knowledge and professional development in technology and cybersecurity, and in strengthening dialogue and the exchange of expertise between the academic sector and the professional sectors it serves.

The College's participation included an active academic contribution. Dr. Fai Ben Salama, Deputy Head of the School of Information Systems and Technology at kuwait technical college, moderated the government panel discussion titled "Building a Secure Digital Environment: Strengthening Governance, Resilience and National Cyber Preparedness," which examined the leading issues involved in building a secure digital environment and in strengthening governance, digital resilience and national readiness in cybersecurity.

The President of kuwait technical college, Professor Dr. Ayman Sulaiman Al Zayed, received a commemorative shield in recognition of the College's role as Knowledge Partner, and in appreciation of its participation and its contribution to advancing knowledge and expertise in the field of cybersecurity

This participation reflects ktech's commitment to providing continuous professional development opportunities for its faculty members, enabling them to take part in specialist events and forums and to engage with leading experts, decision-makers and specialists across the technology sectors. Engagements of this kind enrich faculty members' practical and academic experience, which in turn strengthens the quality of the academic and applied content the College delivers to its students.

The College's participation in CYSEC Kuwait 2026 is aligned with its vision of becoming a leading applied college in the State of Kuwait, recognised for the quality of its education. It also supports the College's approach of delivering an education that combines academic knowledge with practical application and that remains connected to the needs of the labour market and to the rapid pace of change across the technology and cybersecurity sector.

The participation further falls within the College's commitment to academic excellence — in particular, supporting the professional development of faculty members in teaching methods and practical application, developing academic programmes in line with international standards and labour-market needs, and delivering a high quality of education.

CYSEC Kuwait is a specialist platform that convenes leading figures, experts, government bodies, companies and institutions from across the cybersecurity and technology ecosystem, together with a number of partners, sponsors and supporting entities. It provides an important space for sharing knowledge and expertise and for discussing the foremost challenges and opportunities shaping the future of digital security in Kuwait.

Through its participation as Knowledge Partner, kuwait technical college (ktech) continues to strengthen its academic and professional presence in the technology and cybersecurity sector, to support its academic staff, and to connect academic knowledge with practical application and experience — serving its students and enhancing their readiness for the demands of the labour market.
