kuwait technical college (ktech) welcomed more than 1,100 newly admitted Diploma students, accompanied by their parents, during its orientation sessions held over three days on September 14, 15, and 17, 2026. The sessions were held in preparation for the start of the first semester of the 2026/2027 academic year on September 20.

The orientation was organized as part of the College’s commitment to preparing students for university life and familiarizing them with the academic environment and available services. It also provided students and their parents with the opportunity to have their questions answered and receive the information they need to begin their academic journey with confidence and readiness.

The orientation sessions included comprehensive introductions to the College’s academic and administrative departments, programs, and study and registration procedures. Students completed their course registration for the first semester and received their class schedules and student IDs, while also becoming familiar with the academic systems and procedures that will support them throughout their journey at ktech.

kuwait technical college offers Diploma and Bachelor’s degree programs, allowing students to begin their studies with a Diploma and continue their education toward a Bachelor’s degree. The College’s programs include Cybersecurity, Network Systems Management and Security, Management Information Systems (MIS), Accounting, Marketing and Network Design. The programs combine academic knowledge with practical application in line with the needs of the job market, providing students with diverse academic and professional pathways.

Students were also introduced to the Student Services Department and the academic guidance and support it provides, as well as the Student Life Department, which offers clubs, activities, and opportunities for students to develop their talents and skills and engage in campus life. The sessions also introduced students to the role of the Information Technology Department and the systems and digital applications they will use throughout their studies.

A number of organizations also participated in the orientation sessions, offering services, benefits, and special offers to new students, contributing to their overall college experience and supporting the start of their academic journey.
