kuwait technical college  (ktech) successfully concluded the Future Majors Forum, held under the patronage and in the presence of His Excellency the Acting Governor of Mubarak Al-Kabeer and Hawalli Governor, Sheikh Sabah Bader Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah. The forum was attended by ktech’s management and faculty members, alongside a distinguished group of academics, experts, and specialists, with the aim of raising youth awareness of promising academic and career pathways, while connecting educational choices with evolving labor market requirements and the objectives of Kuwait Vision 2035 toward building a knowledge-based and innovation-driven economy.

The forum witnessed wide participation from students, parents, and interested attendees, highlighting the importance of choosing suitable academic majors, understanding emerging sectors, and identifying the skills required for future career opportunities. Dr. Albaraa Al Tourah, Assistant Professor of Media Studies at kuwait technical college , delivered the opening session, while Dr. Fai Ben Salama, Assistant Professor of Cybersecurity at kuwait technical college , highlighted key labor market transformations and future-focused academic fields. The forum also included a panel discussion featuring experts who explored the future of jobs, the role of artificial intelligence, sustainability, innovation, and digital transformation, in addition to specialized workshops covering cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, sustainability and the green economy, and the future of medical physics.
